Remember to Hydrate, Exfoliate, and Cleanse before your appointment! It's important to stay hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. We recommend exfoliating the day before to remove any dead skin cells. It's also a good idea to shower before your appointment to ensure clean skin and reduce the chance of bacteria settling into open pores after waxing.

We DO NOT recommend shaving in between appointments. Consistent waxing on a 4-6 week cycle results in finer, sparser hair growth and longer periods without regrowth.

Loose fitting clothing(dresses, leggings etc.) No jeans or tight pants

We recommend waxing every four weeks, but your ideal schedule may depend on your hair growth rate and experience. After your third appointment, you can determine your best waxing schedule.

Guests at Filthy Glam Beauty must be at least 18 years old to receive private services without adult approval or accompaniment.

If you are using Acutane, Retin-A, or any antibiotics that increase skin sensitivity, it is best to avoid waxing. Additionally, if you have recently tanned in a bed or in the sun, waxing should be avoided. For those with a weakened immune system, it is recommended to consult with a doctor before waxing.

Waxing can be uncomfortable but our techniques minimize pain. The first time may be the worst, but subsequent visits get better. Absolutely no numbing creams/sprays! Take Ibuprofen 30 minutes before the appointment, if safe. Pregnancy, dehydration, and menstrual cycle can increase sensitivity.

For best results, let your hair grow for at least two weeks until it's as long as a grain of rice. Unsure if it's long enough? Give it a few more days. Please do not trim!
